Ali Bosley is an artist originally from Eaglesham, Alberta currently living and practicing within the unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Stó:lō and Səl ̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh and xʷməθkʷəy̓ əm Nations, known as Vancouver, BC. Her work considers the implications of structure through writing, drawing and painting, inspired by themes from science fiction, contemporary media theory, research methods and political theory.

Developed programming, curation, finances, organizational strategies, and anti-oppression initiatives. Elected to the Board of Directors for a two-year term in 2019.

FOUNDING MEMBER, PRODUCTION COORDINATOR, BOARD TREASURER, Vancouver Artists Labour Union (VALU) CO-OP, Vancouver.
Founding member of a unionized, worker-owned cooperative. Dedicated our policies and procedures to ensuring a living wage for each worker.

FOUNDING MEMBER, BOARD TREASURER The Artists and Cultural Workers Union (ACWU), IATSE B-Local 778.
Part of the signing team that established a new IATSE B-Local for Arts and Cultural Workers in Vancouver. The ACWU now has approximately 50 dues paying members.

Facilitated a three-month reading group program and discussion series with Dana Qaddah and Projects Coordinator Catherine de Montreuil. The public was invited to consider horizontal forms of learning and community-building around critical discussion.
